I don't know that I truly LOVE the desert but it certainly has it's beauty and redeeming qualities.. How many places can you sleep outside in the open without getting eaten or drenched in sweat from the humidity? And there are beautiful and interesting flora and fauna like these flowers, one of my favorites.
And Andrew made friends with the local wildlife.
