Girls Rule

Emma is outnumbered by her two brothers and 2 days a week we babysit two more boys, so Emma is surrounded by boys. Has this stopped Emma from her girly ways? No sir, she has reigned supreme as Princess of the house and has tamed the beasts. So here's some tips on how this is done:

1. Combine very tough, boy shirts with skirts so they don't feel they're losing their manliness. Use the toddlers love of dance to your advantage, dancing is always better with a flowing skirt.
2. Baby steps- If you have an older boy they won't jump right into a skirt. Choose other dress-ups and let them choose. Lead them to believe this is their idea. Once they're comfortable tell them they're the prince and they have to dance with you. After all, what's a princess without Charming by her side. Use caution however, they may get ideas that this makes them the boss, they'll be none of that. The Prince's duty is not to rule but to supply you with a dance partner and assure you of your beauty.

3. Hold their hand-guys can't resist this . Throw in a charming smile and he'll follow you anywhere.

4. Use every opportunity to teach gentleness and fashion advice. Flowers are made for hair.
5. Use tempting props to lure him into an otherwise embarrasing costume. Boys can't resist waving and eating a stick even if it means wearing a flowery headband.
6. Start 'em young! As soon as mom's not looking, slip baby brother into a skirt. The great thing about babies is they can't remove the skirt and they don't know that boys aren't supposed to do that. Sure, let him chew on that ball, but look how beautiful he is!

And before he knows what hit him, he's one of your ladies in waiting. Man , I'm good!

I love the pictures and comments on "Girl's Rule". No need to worry about the boys in dresses. Remember the cute pictures of Nate in the pretty red dress? (On second thought, maybe you should worry).

You'll have to let us know how Weston and Andrew retaliate once they're old enough to know what Princess Emma has done to them...

In the meantime, thanks for sharing the pictures and tips. Very cute and funny!
