Days of Thanksgiving Day #19

I am grateful for Emma's goodness
Emma is very much driven by what is right and what is good. She always wants to know what the rules are and makes sure that everyone lives by them. Emma thrives off of schedules and routines and rules because she needs to know what is expected and when she can expect things. She listens intently to scripture stories to be sure she gets the message. It's a little akward at times when she lectures Weston about following "satan's church" when he won't clean up his toys but I'm glad she's internalizing what she's being taught. This is actually one of the reasons Jamie and I are supporters of public school, because we want to share our little lights and let these kids have a chance to practice what they're being taught at home (and hope that it comes out right). And Emma is definitely a bright light. She's smart and to-the-book, but humble and sweet. Our family is certainly happier and better with her in it! She helps keep me in line.
